Elle leur sert dans la fabrication des cellules hexagonales pr\u00e9sentes dans leur nid et o\u00f9 le miel est stock\u00e9. Elle provient des quatre segments abdominaux de l&rsquo;abeille et n&rsquo;est produite que par des ouvri\u00e8res jeunes.<\/p>\n<p>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Une colonie produit en moyenne 1\/4 \u00e0 1\/2 kg sur une ann\u00e9e, et pour produire cette cire, les abeilles consomment 10 kg de miel et 1 kg de pollen par kg de cire<\/p>\n<p>En ce qui concerne les rayons, une surface d&rsquo;un <strong>d\u00e9cim\u00e9tre carr\u00e9<\/strong> supporte, sur 2 faces<\/p>\n<div class=\"pad20\">\n<ul id=\"imglist\">\n<li>850 cellules d&rsquo;ouvri\u00e8res ou 510 cellules de m\u00e2les<\/li>\n<li>p\u00e8se 12 g<\/li>\n<li>peut contenir 1\/3 kg de miel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>Dans les ruches, la distance entre cadres, d&rsquo;axe \u00e0 axe, varie entre 37.5 et 38 mm. La distance id\u00e9ale pour le couvain \u00e9tant de 35 mm, distance mesur\u00e9e sur constructions faites par des essaims sauvages.<\/p>\n<p>Quand au volume d&rsquo;une cellule, il est de 0.3
